Talking Turkey

It seems the Turkish DVD bootleg of Brokeback Mountain has a title that translates as "Faggot Cowboys." Insensitive, but also inaccurate: As a link from G's blog points out, they're actually bisexual.

Still, this would have made an excellent title. "I love 'Faggot Cowboys!'" proclaims Leonard Maltin. "Two thumbs way up for 'Faggot Cowboys!'" says Ebert & Roeper. "'Faggot Cowboys' made our day!" raves the New York Times.

In the UK, of course, the title would more likely imply a film about the Marlboro Man.
